We saw these pretties out on a walk. I always love crocus - they remind me of my grandma and her house in Alaska. They were always the first to come out and were a sign that spring was coming - though maybe not for many more months up in the AK! Here, it's is a different story. The day we took Max home (he was born in late April) it was a humid 80 degrees outside. *shudder*

Matt has been away a lot this week for work, which has been slightly unusual. It makes me sad, in part because this little boy LOVES his Daddy. First thing this morning Max rolled over, touched Matt's face and went on a constant repeat of "Dada...Daddy...Dada...Dadadada..." while gazing at him. Matt was even trying to get him to say Mama, but he wouldn't let himself get distracted from his daily dose of Daddy salutations!
Obviously, this makes me a happy mama.
{funny}
Maximilian has a bad case of merganser head after waking from his naps from time to time. It is a condition that has been passed down from his mother's mother and will continue to be passed on to future generations!
We continue to be amazed that his hair is blonde.

Poor Otto got attacked earlier this week by a neighbor dog who seems to be too possessive of his yard. Which is understandable, but the repercussions caused a lot of pain to this poor puppy!
*WARNING: Content of a more graphic nature below*
The vet had to put a drain in his throat to allow the excess blood/fluid to drain from his wound, since the dog ended up hitting a vessel, causing a lot of blood to pool underneath the skin. We got the drain out today, which made Otto very happy. Hopefully his normal dopey but loving personality will come back soon!
That about sums up my week, besides the fact that I actually managed to get on top of our huge dirty dishes pile and beat it into submission, but no one wants to see pictures of that!
Go see what the other ladies did this week at LMLD
EW!
