Thanks for taking a look around Little House by the Prairie!

I decided to start this blog for the reasons so many other stay-at-home moms decide to take on this endeavor: to document my family's comings and goings, witness to the Faith of the Catholic church through my life, and grow in community in order to support and be supported by the beautiful Catholic community out there in the blogosphere!  I have a passion for the sacrament of marriage, babies, NFP, breastfeeding, frugal living, and also endeavor to learn more about country living (if you can't beat 'em, join 'em!): homesteading, preserving, making food from scratch, and sewing.  Thus, Little House by the Prairie.  

We are making apartment living work for now, learning how to raise a sweet baby boy, and trying to become the people that God intended us to be.
